It rained most of the time while we were in Orlando. On Friday the weather had cleared a little so we decided to go to Disney. As soon as we got to the park it started to pour, accompanied by some pretty serious lightning and thunder. We turned around and headed home. Saturday morning it poured again, but by late afternoon the sky was clear and the sun was out. We decided to give Disney a second try. We got there and the weather was OK. We rode a few rides and just as we were getting ready to get on Dumbo it started to sprinkle. Whilst up in the air the rain really started to come down. Lucky for us Dumbo is a short ride. Karen packed plastic ponchos for everyone, so we donned them and did a few more rides. Two rides later, the weather had really declined. It was pouring. lightning and thundering again.... and of course the entire of Magic Kingdom decided to leave the park at the same time. We made it as far as the exit gift shop when we opted to stay till the weather cleared enough to wait in the long line for the monorail home.
Even though we had ponchos, we all got soaked. Not one of the kids (or us adults) complained about it once.

Those ponchos are hysterical. Sorry they didn't keep the rain out but it doesn't seem you guys minded :-)
