I went through the Panera drive through yesterday to get a coffee. I asked the girls if they wanted to get anything and Abigail says "I'll have the usual."

While she does always get the same thing (chocolate chip bagel, plain cream cheese and a water), it was still funny to hear her call it "the usual". Amelia wanted the same thing she gets every time also, an orange scone.

Photo Shoot

We had fun driving around town looking for good places to take pictures. I'm wishing I had a better camera and I knew a little more about lighting. Practice makes perfect so they say. Luckily I have a very cooperative model.

A little Pre Trick or Treating

Church puts on a Trunk or Treat event every year. There is face painting, lots of little games to play and " big jumpy things" to jump and slide on. Of course there's also plenty of candy. Grandma was there to take some pictures. It's not very often we get a family shot, so thanks Grandma.

The Package

We got a package filled with goodies from Aunt Tammy in the mail today. We cannot thank her enough! She put in fun things for everyone! There were coloring books and a craft book for the girls. There were two cute little wooden animal toys that Amelia really likes. She keeps telling me she's seen them on TV. Abigail couldn't wait to try on her Halloween outfit. As soon as she put it on she ran up to her room to get her "accessories" (hair clip and bracelet). The outfit is adorable on her. I love the colors and it's fits perfectly. I'm always amazed that Tam can make outfits without a pattern. She put in some some cannoli forms that I can't wait to test out. I see an Italian themed dinner in our near future. :) Will will be excited to see he has a whole new bottle of our favorite Maine hot sauce, he was running low. (I may have had something to do with that though, I LOVE that stuff). Tammy restocked our supply of Native Maine Popcorn. I told the girls we would watch a movie and pop some later. She also put in some delicious apples. There is nothing like a Maine apple! Thank you again for everything! We can't wait to see you guys soon.

Camping On The Island

Camping the first
Last minute, get everything together, we're going camping
Load up the car and boats, drag it all to the bank, avoid heart attack
See dolphins, kids paddle, Mom gets soaked
Hit the shore, build the house, see the view
Our adventure, land rowing, our island
Birds flew high, plants grew deep, what lives in there
Dig a hole, build the fire, watch the sunset
Dinner, marshmallows, to "deflection"
Roughing it, except for the movie, cold night ahead
Woke up, little gypsies, then warmed
More playing, high jumps, then back on the boat
It was a blast
We'll be back
